Summer in the City

As summer is slowly coming to an end, I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet. Summers in New York are the best but it goes by way too quickly. Considering we only get about 4 months of it! Do you guys have any end of Summer plans?

I played with some color around my eyes with this look to brighten up my eyes. The smooth eyeliner stick glides so effortlessly that it makes doing my eye make-up a lot easier. There's also a smudging and sharpening tip at the end of the stick also did I mention it's waterproof?! This HD Automatic Eyeliner (in #004) is one of the best and doesn't break the bank.

Since I've gotten a little more tan over the summer I now use my Sun 'N Bronze Bronzing Powder  (in #707) which I lightly apply on top of my foundation. And to finish it all off I apply my favorite Smooch Proof Lip-Stain (in #100) that doesn't melt off with the summer heat and my Show Time Volumizing Mascara
(in #844).

Sometimes all it takes is to wear a colorful outfit and some pretty make-up to brighten up my day. I know, I know! As corny as that may sound it's the truth! Sometimes life gets a little hectic and scary and I feel like it's important to take care of yourself on the outside to help feel better in the inside.
When life gets crazy, never let yourself go because it's the time when you need to take care of yourself the most.
Until next time lovelies!

Ahh, finally the warm days are upon us!
Time to think of summer plans and enjoy the beautiful weather that is coming. Lately this outfit has been kind of my weekend uniform, comfortable jeans and a lose top is all I want to be wearing. And for my make-up look I went with a fresh glowing look that I was able to achieve easily using New York Color's BB Radiance Perfecting powder and a bit of white eyeshadow in the corner of my eyes.
What do you guys think?

Until next time lovelies!

Spring again!

 Forever 21 jumpsuit and shoes
Steve Madden bag

Hi lovelies!
Nice weather is just around the corner here in NYC and I just can't wait to shed some layers (as you can tell with this outfit)!
I got very excited over the weekend when the weather got EXTRA nice and took the opportunity to spruce up my outfit and make-up.
I tried New York Color's Expert Last Satin Matte Lipstick in velvety fuchsia for the first time and let me tell you- it's one of the best lipsticks I have ever tried. The smoothness, the strong pigment and long wearing had me in awe. I'm not big into wearing bright lipstick but this one I'll be sure to be wearing all through-out spring.

So as some of you may know, back in December I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology! It's been pretty surreal being done with school and looking for a job in what I majored in but I was lucky enough to find a perfect job in just a couple of weeks after graduation! Look out Fashion world, there's a new girl in the industry!

So now with my new busy schedule, (work, meetings, blogging, etc.) it calls for make-up and outfits that can endure a long day. Lucky enough for me I was able to try some new products from New York Color that last 24hr! In this post I used taupe and white waterproof eyeshadow to make a soft brown color on my eyes. Topped it off with 24hr city proof mascara and I was out the door! I would definetly recommend checking out all the wonderful colors they have, and since each one is priced at $2.99 you can't go wrong.
Until next time!
